Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born December 7, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He attended secondary and primary school. Chris Oyakhilome After that, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with a BSc. In Architecture.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry

While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey into the field of ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with thousands of members and associates around the world.

In 2002, during the atmosphere for miracles programme, BLW rose to prominence as an Christian ministry on television in Africa. The show was cancelled in the month of May, 2004 by the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would cease broadcasting miracles on TV.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry comprises four parts that include publishing ministry to heal and teaching for television, and television ministry for TV. The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an initiative designed to develop and expand the leadership capabilities of Africans. The foundation recognizes the efforts that these young leaders have made through an annual award ceremony called The Next Africa Leaders’ prize. This ceremony takes place on the Eve after each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena. The President of the foundation, BLW Reverend Chris Oyakhilome gives an award to the winners.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for children is an religiously-based not-for-profit Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was established to help the poor homeless, depressed, orphaned and vulnerable children of .

The foundation helps these destitute children and their communities by implementing sustainable and participative interventions that include child development programs and childcare programs and family strengthening programs, InnerCity Mission for Children School and many more.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was created to enhance the standard of living and the general health of communities and countries by encouraging better emergency response for incidents and emergency situations. The foundation’s goal is to achieve this goal through community-based programs, advocacy, health education and advocacy. It also supports national policies on trauma treatment.

The foundation has conducted more than a thousand First Aid safety, emergency response training. They are acknowledged for educating more than 1,000 students, law enforcement officers as well as teachers, caregivers and road traffic officers.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC)

The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a worldwide christian organization that provides aid and medical assistance to those who are internally displaced or have been forced to flee regions that are affected by man-made or natural catastrophes.
